At NASA / Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Delta was tasked with assisting JPL in maintaining Infrastructure and Platform Solutions, Network Operations, System Monitoring and Notification Services, and High-Performance Computing, as well as DevOps.
At NASA Ames Research Center, Delta works with NASA and FAA on Aviation Safety Program (ASRS ) and Confidential Close Calls Reporting System (C3RS), to collect and analyze flight and railroad “incident” data to improve the safety of the National Transportation System. Our work involves daily interaction with commercial, private and military pilots, mechanics, flight attendants, air traffic controllers and airport personnel, to anonymously and confidentially report aviation issues and incidents.
The resulting general aggregate data is used to investigate runway incursions and incidents involving Manned and Unmanned Aviation Systems. The process helps to identify and investigate systemic issues and apply appropriate mitigations to fix the problem before it becomes an incident or accident.
Previously at Ames, Delta was involved in the ACITS program to deliver Scientific Computing Systems and Support designing, developing, installing, modifying, configuring, operating, and maintaining software and computing systems to solve computationally intensive and/or complex engineering and scientific problems in support of ARC missions and projects.
At NASA Stennis Space Center, Delta provided software engineering services for Remote Sensing for the Stennis’ Applied Science & Technology, Safety and Mission Assurance Office, and was in charge of the Service Management Group (SMG) under the Information Technology Services (ITS) contract.
